PennDOT Road Work to Detour P68-Braddock Hills Flyer

A PennDOT road reconstruction project along Main Street (Route 2051) in East Pittsburgh will require Pittsburgh Regional Transit to detour the P68-Braddock Hills Flyer beginning Monday, July 28.

PennDOT Shuttle Map

Several bus stops will be temporarily out of service through the project’s anticipated completion in October. As a result, the P68 will not serve bus stops on Main Street, and many bus stops on Brinton Avenue and Pallas Street.

PennDOT will operate a free shuttle through the construction zone that will serve the affected stops. Riders can transfer from the PennDOT shuttle to the P68, 59-Mon Valley, 61A-Braddock, and 61B-Braddock-Swissvale at the Giant Eagle in the Braddock Hills Shopping Center and at Dynamo Way at Beech Street in East Pittsburgh.

A full list of the inbound and outbound shuttle stops can be found at https://www.pa.gov/agencies/penndot/news-and-media/newsroom/district-11/2025/route-2051-main-street-closures-begin-monday-in-east-pittsburgh

Shuttles will operate from 5:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. The shuttle will start at Dynamo Way/Electric Avenue intersection and at Braddock Hills Shopping Plaza on Yost Boulevard on weekdays and will reverse directions on weekends. The shuttle loop will take approximately 30 minutes.

For any questions or comments on the shuttle service, please contact the Elite Coach Transportation office Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 724-325-2626.
